The Maze Runner : Everything Is Going To Change

Let me just begin by saying that reading The Maze Runner have been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

If I have to use three words to describe this book it would be Intriguing, Incredible & Amazing.
James Dashner's 'The Maze Runner' is easily one of the most exciting, thrilling, creepily dark, and well written books I've read.

There was never a boring or dull moment. Sure there were times where it was a bit confusing but it all started to come together as the story progressed.

What I liked the most about The Maze Runner was that it wasn't about some whiny protagonists who were in love and their love had to save the world. It seems like most YA books these days have the same plot lines and have become predictable. That was what worked the most with Maze Runner, it wasn't predictable. We didn't know what was going to happen next, we were as much in the dark as the gladers and that was a good thing.

Our male protagonist, Thomas, was brave, smart and hell of a lot curious. It was like a breath of fresh air to read a book from male protagonist's pov(There is a serious lack of books with male pov). His emotions and reactions towards certain situations were understandable considering the situation he was in. When Teressa arrived it only become more interesting. The telepathy between Thonas and Teressa (even when she was in coma), was a nice touch.

Even though there were deaths that were too obvious, like Alby's, cause dude, I saw that one coming from a mile away; One death I did not expected was of Chuck's. There were a few times in the book where I thought that Chuck might die now, but I did not thought that it might happen after they leave the Maze. Chuck's death was a emotional one for me. I felt for Thomas. Chuck's death effected him the most and it was chilling to see him so consumed by hatred and rage. Thomas promised Chuck that he would get him home; but being so close to freedom and then dying, it was heartbreaking.

The ending totally threw me off track with so many more revelations. I was left with more burning questions and the urge to read the next book in the series as soon as possible.

I'll give the book ★★★★☆(4.5) stars.

All sci-fi nerds should definitely give this book a try.

If you haven't read it yet, go and do it now.

Why crossovers are interesting..!!

I am a huge Fangirl of Supernatural. Probably not as much as others out there in this beautiful beautiful world. But I love it from the bottom of my heart. I remember the first time I was introduced to this show, about three years ago. And this Show has captured my heart ever since. It was because of Supernatural that I was introduced to the world of Fandoms and Fangirls. And I'm proud to say that I have loved it ever since.

But this post isn't about how much I love Supernatural. Although I can go on and on about it for ages. This is a post about crossovers.

I love books and movies and shows, and i love when we can indulge in them with Fanfictions and Fanarts and many such things. I love a Fan's perception on their Fandom. I love how they can create so many different situations and settings for our favorite characters.!! But even more so I love how we can take characters from different Fandoms and bring them together and make an whole new Fandom with them.

For instance, I love Supernatural and Harry Potter together, I love how those two worlds could be brought together. Or I really like how Percy Jackson can relate with Harry Potter. Or how Jack Frost (Rise of the Guardians) can fall in love with Elsa (Frozen).

Crossovers are one of the most loved things of a Fangirl's life. They make us wanna disappear in more than one world together. Can you imagine, how good Dean Winchester and Hermione Granger will look together. Or how Dean will always promise to protect her with all he is worth. Or when Dean and Sam come together with Hogwarts to defeat You-Know-who.

Or maybe that instance in which Harry gets headaches and all the Fangirls decide that he must be chosen by Azazel. Or which house our fav brothers will be sorted into?

Pretty sure Dean will be in Gryffindor for being brave and Sam in Ravenclaw for being smart and bookworm.

Or how Stiles Stilinski is actually a Demigod and helped save the Olympus with Percy and Annabeth what with him being ADHD and all. And how he is more of a bad-ass than Derek and Scott combined together.

Or how Henry Mills is actually the son of Dean Winchester and Emma Swan.

Or lets talk about the most talked about fandom of all time on tumblr : SuperWhoLock.
SuperWhoLock is a fandom of Supernatural, Doctor Who And Sherlock. This crossover let us imagine how our favorite Winchester Brothers would react to The Doctor, or how not amused Sherlock is going to be when he finds out about the supernatural world and Time Lords. Or how John and Mary Watson are really John and Mary Winchester.

In the end, I can tell you about a lot more crossover fandoms, or how they can happen or should happen. But the point will be the same (And yes, there is a point in this post). There can be a lot of other possibilities in a crossover but no matter what,    for a fangirl it will always be about how much she wants to see her favorite characters from different fandoms to come together and spin their own different and  interesting tales.

Ask any Fangirl in the world she'll tell you the very same thing I've been going on about in this post.

And those of you who have never read a crossover before, go and find you two favorite fandoms and read a crossover between them, and then come tell me how much you loved it (Yes, I'm pretty sure you'll love it).

Until then, The Game Is On.!!!
Hurry.. You've Got Work To DO..!! ;)
